Such variety in our consultants' backgrounds allows our firm to bring to projects an understanding of port and transport interaction and the planning, policy, environmental and commercial needs that constitute core planning issues at a time when the nature and ownership of many ports is fluid.

In the growing area of sustainability we have advised port sector clients on the practical formulation of sustainable management policies for their ports. Through these and related projects we are developing a significant research base and unique tools to assist our clients to conduct business in changing policy settings. Because we work in both public and private sector environments we are therefore immersed in the objective sets of both governments and private firms operating in the maritime transport sector.
